Accessing the Terminal Diagnostics Menu

Select the required option.
• Single Pass executes one pass through the test and stops. The Test Count/Fail display is
updated after each pass. If the Stop/Start option is selected, the status line indicates the
system is stopped. Pressing Stop/Start again displays the previous final test status. In the
single pass mode, if the test stopped because of errors, the Fail indicator will be
incremented by one.
• Continuous Passes continually runs successive test passes until one of the other options is
selected. The Test Count/Fail display is updated after each pass. In continuous pass mode,
Stop/Start completes the test that is currently running or restarts testing when pressed
again.
• Restart test option re-initializes the Test Count/Fail display, then executes the last
selected test option.
Terminal: DIP SWITCH TEST
Use this option to initiate a display showing the current position of each DIP switch (SW1) on
the CPU PCB. When a switch position is changed, the display reflects that change.

On the diagnostic Main Menu, select DIP SWITCH TEST.
The DIP switch display appears (see
), followed by the message
“Press any key for Main Menu.”

When a switch position is changed, the display reflects that change. Press any key to return to
the diagnostics Main Menu.
Terminal: HEALTH LIGHT TEST
Use this option to check the status of the yellow health light located on the CPU board.

On the diagnostic Main Menu, select HEALTH LIGHT TEST.
The Health Light Test Menu appears:
HEALTH LIGHT TEST
1. TURN HEALTH LIGHT ON
2. TURN HEALTH LIGHT OFF
3. READ HEALTH LIGHT STATUS
4. QUIT TO MAIN MENU
