About the Manual Entry File
The manual entry file is used when you include a check digit in the vehicle record requesting a
manual entry. Your manual entry field name is identified when you perform system SETUP
(refer to
“Getting Started/System Setup”
Your system can be configured to check or not check manual entry (refer to
ENTRY CONFIG (only for Master and Standalone Modes)”
). If manual entry check is required, a record must exist in the
manual entry file. The entry made by the user at the keypad must match a record in the manual
entry file. If manual entry check is not required, the user can enter anything at the manual
entry field and it will be accepted.
Your manual entry file contains all pertinent manual entry information in the following
format:
The manual entry file can contain up to 4000 manual entry records. Like the vehicle file, the
manual entry file also contains a PIN field. Refer to
PIN function operates.
