6 At TOTAL QUANTITY, press ENTER. Enter eight digits (xxxxx.xxx) and press ENTER.
The decimal point is fixed, so enter the appropriate number of zeros to form the correct
number. Use the down arrow to proceed.
7 At # FUELINGS TO DATE, enter nothing. This field is updated from the beginning of the
system start-up or manual entry file initialization.
Delete Manual Entry Record
Allows you to delete a manual entry record. Select DELETE MANUAL ENTRY. The manual
entry name prompt appears. Type the manual entry number and press ENTER. The TopKAT
then asks you to verify your deletion by pressing the YES or NO key. If YES is selected, the
record is deleted.
Initialize File
Use INITIALIZE FILE only at initial startup or if doing periodic reconciliations. Be sure to
print any required reports before running INITIALIZE FILE, otherwise you will end up with
reports containing initialized values.
This command clears all cumulative quantity totalizers, resets the # of fuelings, and resets the
initialization date to the current date for the file.
Clear File
Use CLEAR FILE to clear all records from the manual entry file. This command erases any
manual entry records previously stored in the file; they cannot be retrieved unless you have the
PCMCIA backup option with a current backup of your manual entry file or a Gasboy PC/900
computer program with a current backup of your manual entry file.
