Getting Started/System Setup

LOAD PCU TYPE (only for Master and Standalone Modes)

Use LOAD PCU TYPE to load the configuration for the types of pumps you are using.
Available choices for standalone and master are: ALL 9800, 4-HOSE MECH PCU(S),

2-HOSE MECH. I/F. An additional choice appears on the master: 9800 + MECH.

SELECT ENTRY MODE

Use SELECT ENTRY MODE to indicate the ways the system will be accessed. Available
choices are: KEY ONLY, KEYPAD ONLY, KEY OR KEYPAD. This option must be set
individually at the master and at each satellite.

LOAD DATE (only for Master and Standalone Modes)

Use LOAD DATE to load the current date. The TopKAT should be factory-loaded with the
correct date, but occasionally, you may need to change it.

LOAD TIME (only for Master and Standalone Modes)

Use LOAD TIME to load the current time on 24-hour format (00:00 to 23:59). The TopKAT is
factory-loaded to Eastern time with the correct time, but occasionally, you may need to change
it.

LOAD SITE NO (only for Master and Standalone Modes)

Use LOAD SITE NO to load the four-digit site number. This number appears at the beginning
of each transaction listing and as the first four digits when you print compacted transactions.

LOAD POLL ADDRESS

Use LOAD POLL ADDRESS to load a two-digit address to be used for computer mode
communication with the TopKAT. For standalone, master and first satellite, this address
should be loaded to 1. If setting up a satellite, the poll address must be between 1 and 7. The
poll address becomes the assigned satellite number.

This entry also contains a subprompt that will enable you to default your terminal mode
password to GASBOY.

LOAD SYSTEM ID (only for Master and Standalone Modes)

Use LOAD SYSTEM ID to load the four-digit system ID. This number is unique to your
system, assigned at the factory, and is encoded onto your access keys. It guards against users
of other systems accessing your system.

LOAD PASSWORD

Use LOAD PASSWORD to load the manager key password. The password you enter when
using the manager key at the keypad is limited to four digits. It is factory-loaded as 1234. The
password you use when entering commands through a data terminal is limited to 10
alphanumeric characters. When using the master/satellite option, the password can be loaded
at the master and the satellites.
