Terminal Commands
INitialize File (I F)
Use INITIALIZE FILE only at initial startup or if doing periodic reconciliations. Be sure to
print any required reports before running INITIALIZE FILE, otherwise you will end up with
reports containing initialized values. When you select initialize pumps and your system has the
master/satellite option, both master and satellite units are initialized.

Type I F.
The system displays the following menu:
INITIALIZE FILE
1. VEHICLE
2. MANUAL ENTRY
3. PUMPS
4. TANKS
5. ALL
ENTER (1-5:

Type the selection number for the file to be initialized.
The system responds INIT xxxxxx FILE, and prompts: ARE YOU SURE? (YES) or (N)o:

Type the appropriate response.
Initialize MODem (I MOD)
Use this command to send the modem strings that were input using the LOAD MODEM
terminal command. When you do this, a result response displays on a second line.
Type I MOD.
The system displays “…please wait” and then one of the following result codes:
Result
Description
SUCCESSFUL
No command errors and Q1 is present in string 2
STRING 1 FAILED
Incorrect modem command was detected
STRING 2 FAILED
Incorrect modem command was detected
NO RESPONSE
Modem not present or not functioning; or Q1 is in string 1
STRINGS OK, NO Q1
Modem commands are correct but Q1 is not present in string 2
