Load DAte (L DA)

Use this command to load the current system date.

Type L DA.
The system responds LOAD DATE (MMDDYY): (110105).

Type the date in the format shown in the system response.

LOad MODem (LO MOD)

Use this command to input (load) one or two strings of modem commands up to 39 characters
each. (The 39-character limitation is a modem requirement.) When the system is reset, these
default modem stings are loaded:

String 1

AT&D2V1E0S0=1&C1B1

String 2

AT&WQ1

• The first string must include Q0 (allow result codes) as its first command.
• The second string must include Q1 as the last command.
• Do not use the following commands: &F, ATR, &V, and E1 (E1 is the default, however

E0 is sent in the default initialization string to the TopKAT. Do not change the TopKAT
string to E1).

Type LO MOD.
The system prompts LOAD INIT STRNG 1:

Add or change commands and press ENTER or just press ENTER to leave the string as is.
The system prompts LOAD INIT STRNG 2:

Add or change commands and press ENTER or just press ENTER to leave the string as is.

Note: If the modem is not enabled, not available will display when this command is entered.

Load MOre (L MO)

Use this command to indicate how many lines of text will appear on your terminal display
screen when a |more command is used with the terminal print commands.

Type L MO.
When the system prompts LOAD MORE: (xx), enter a number from 1 to 24.
