About the PCU File

To change assignments, press ENTER. The prompt PCU # appears. Press ENTER. Type the
required PCU number (1 - 8) and press ENTER.

Press the down arrow to display PCU SLOT.

To change assignments, press ENTER. The prompt PCU SLOT appears. Type the required
slot number and press ENTER.

Press PREV until PCU SETUP appears.
Note: If your configuration is Standalone Mechanical I/F, PCU Setup is disabled and your
pump setup is done through the pump file.
PCU Assignments/Edit PCUs (Master Mechanical I/F, Master Combination)
Configure Master Unit for Mechanical Pumps
To configure Master Unit for Mechanical Pumps, proceed as follows:

At PCU SETUP: LOAD # SATELLITES, press ENTER.

Type the number of satellite units (1 - 7) and press ENTER. Use the down arrow to proceed.

At EDIT PCUS, press ENTER.

At EDIT PCUS: MASTER, press ENTER. Define the characteristics of your master unit.
• At LOAD # of PUMPS, press ENTER. Type the number of pumps attached to the master
(1 or 2) and press ENTER. Use the down arrow key to proceed.
• At LOAD BASE PUMP, press ENTER. Indicate the base pump number (01 - 99) and
press ENTER. Use the down arrow to proceed.
• At MECH PUMP SETUP, press ENTER. The system displays the current pump numbers.
Press ENTER at the required pump number. Use the down arrow to proceed.
• At PULSE RATE, press ENTER. Use the down arrow until the required pulse rate
displays and press ENTER. Use the down arrow to proceed.
• At PUMP SWITCH TIMER, press ENTER. Type a value from .1 to 1.0 and press
ENTER (refer to
for details on this parameter).
• Press PREV until EDIT PCUS: MASTER displays.

Press the down arrow until EDIT PCUS: SATELLITES displays. Press ENTER. Continue
