Security – Secure Print
This feature directs the printing of confidential documents, or documents which should not be seen by
third parties, to a User Account on the machine. The user can then access his or her Account, with a
numeric password, at the device, and privately print out the stored documents. This feature is set up on
the machine with the following procedure.
1. Press the Log In / Out button on the Device’s Control Panel.
2. Press the "1" key on the numeric keypad five consecutive times. (This is the factory default
"password.")
3. Touch Confirm .
4. Press the System Settings button (the right-hand button of the two buttons displayed on the touch
screen). Note: If you press the left button by mistake, the Main menu will be displayed and you will
have to start over at step one above.
5. Press the System Settings button .
6. Touch Login Setup / Auditron Administration .
7. Touch Create / Check User Accounts .
8. Create an account and a numeric password. Touch Save and then Close.
9. Touch Charge / Private Print Settings .
10. Select Receive Control and touch Change Settings.
a. Select Print Auditron Settings.
b. Select Print Job for Job Login Success.
c. Select Cancel Job for Job Login Failure.
d. Select Cancel Job for Job without User ID.
11. Touch Save.
12. Touch Close several times to return to the System Settings screen, with an Exit button.
13. Touch Exit to return to the Main screen.
