Connection through a controller

In the SigmaWin+ main window, click
Setup

Software Reset
.
The
Software Reset
box will appear.
Note: If the moment of inertia is calculated as described in
5.3 Advanced Autotuning (Fn201)
, the
Software Reset
box shown in step 2 will appear.
If you do not want to continue, click
Cancel
. The SigmaWin+ main window will appear.

Select the
Reset MECHATROLINK communication
.

If
Software Reset
is executed without resetting MECHATROLINK communications,
communications between the controller and the SERVOPACK will be disabled and
an error will be issued. Make sure to check the box for
Reset MECHATROLINK
communication
to reset the MECHATROLINK communications.
