Configuration Options Page
These settings let you decide how you want to be notified of the different events
that are logged and the level of logging that is to take place.

Parameter Description
Disposition of Events (by Severity Level) When a severity level is selected, all higher-priority severity levels are also
selected.
Display on Event Log Determine for each severity level whether you want the event displayed
on the event log by placing a check mark in the check box. Events
displayed on the event log are available on the event log page.
Notify via SNMP/Syslog Trap Determine for each severity level whether you want to be notified by an
SNMP/Syslog trap when the event occurs. The notification occurs when a
check mark appears in the check box.
Record for SNMP/Syslog History Table Determine for each severity level whether you want to record the event in
the SNMP/Syslog history table. The event is recorded when a check mark
appears in the check box.
Display on Telnet/SSH Monitor Determine for each severity level whether you want to display the event
on the Telnet/SSH monitor. The event displays on the monitor when a
check mark appears in the check box.
