Touch [OK] and then touch [Close] on the next screen.
Overseas TX is set and the machine returns to the Fax/Scan screen.

International dialing codes can be registered together with telephone numbers in the Address Book
and Program destinations. Refer to "Registering the Address Book" on page 9-3 for registering
abbreviated destinations, and refer to "Registering Program destinations" on page 9-14 for
registering Program destinations.

Specify other settings if required.

Dial the international telephone service code, followed by the recipient’s country code, area code and
recipient’s fax number.

International telephone service codes differ by telephone company. Enquire directly with telephone
companies regaridng international telephone service codes.

Press [Start] key.

If the fax cannot be sent because the recipient’s line is busy, the recipients number is redialed. For
details regarding redialling, refer to "When unable to send fax" on page 2-31.

For aborting transmission, refer to "Aborting transmission" on page 2-36.

If you are unable to send a fax, refer to "Fax cannot be sent" on page 4-2.
Transmission begins.
