Useful transmission functions

Enter the password (Maximum 20 digits) with the keypad.

Numbers 0-9 and # and * can be entered for the password.

If an incorrect number has been entered, touch [Delete] and then correct the number.

When [C] (clear) key is pressed, all entered contents are deleted.

Touch [No] to cancel the settings.

Touch [OK].
Returns to the Communication Method Settings screen.

Touch [OK].
Returns to Communication Settings screen.

Touch [Close].
Returns to Fax/Scan screen.

Set other functions if required.

Specify the destination.

Press [Start] key.

If the fax cannot be sent because the recipient’s line is busy, the recipients number is redialed. For
details on redial, refer to "When unable to send fax" on page 2-31.

To stop the transmission, refer to "Aborting transmission" on page 2-36.

If the fax could not be sent, refer to "Fax cannot be sent" on page 4-2.
The scanned original is stored in the memory as a scheduled job and transmission is started.
