6.6 Sending a fax after specifying the scan size of the original (Scan Size)
Scan Size
Scan Size is a function to send the fax after specifying the scan size of the original.
When the paper width on the recipient’s side is smaller than the paper size of the original that is sent, the
original is reduced and then printed. When the original is not to be reduced, and the scan size is specified for
the paper size on the recepient’s side, the original of the original size can be sent.

Note
The original scanning position of an original loaded on ADF is different from the original scanning
position of an original loaded on original glass.
When Scan Size and Mixed Original setting are specified at the same time, the size specified in Scan
Size setting is applied.
Following functions cannot be used simultaneously.
Quick Memory TX, Polling RX, Total # of Pages and Bulletin board polling RX
Sending the fax after specifying the scan size

Press [Fax/Scan] key to display the Fax/Scan screen.

Load the original.
– For details on loading originals, refer to "Loading the original" on page 2-6.

Touch buttons in order of [Scan Settings], [Application].

Touch [Scan Size].
