Useful transmission functions

Touch [SUB Address] and enter the confidential box number of the recipient’s fax machine with the
keypad.
–
When communication password is required, press [Password] and enter the communication
password.

Up to 20 digits can be entered in the SUB Address and Password. When the recipient’s fax machine
is FK-502, enter the confidential box number within 9 digits and the password within 8 digits. In
other cases, it differs depending on the recipient’s fax machine.

Numbers 0-9 and # and * can be entered in the password.
–
If an incorrect number has been entered, touch [Delete] and then correct the number.
–
When [C] (clear) key is pressed, all entered contents are deleted.
–
Touch [No] to cancel the settings.

Touch [OK].
Returns to the Communication Method Settings screen.

Touch [OK].
Returns to Communication Settings screen.

Touch [Close].
Returns to Fax/Scan screen.

Specify the destination.

Press [Start] key.

Press [Stop] key to stop the original registration.
The scanned original is stored in the memory as a scheduled job and transmission is started.
