9.6 Confidential box settings
The confidential communication that uses F-code can be used in this machine.
It is necessary to register the confidential box for confidential reception. A maximum of 20 confidential boxes
can be registered.

Give the box number and communication password set in the confidential box to the sender.

Registering a confidential box

A confidential box can be registered from PageScope Web Connection. For details on the using
PageScope Web Connection, refer to the User’s Guide [PageScope Web Connection Operations].

Press [Utility/Counter] key to display the Utility mode screen.

Touch [One-Touch/User Box Registration].
– In the Utility mode, the number displayed on button can be entered and selected on the keypad. For
[One-Touch/User Box Registration], enter [1] on the keypad.
– [One-Touch/User Box Registration] cannot be registered or changed when [Registering and
Changing Address] is set to [Restrict] in the Utility mode. Contact the administrator to register or
change the [One-Touch/User Box Registration].
