6.23 Specifying the way of adding the transmission source information (Fax
Header Settings)
Fax Header Settings
Fax header (transmission source information) can be added for each job at the time of fax transmission.
The contents added to original as fax header are registered in [Header Information] of the Utility mode.
The method of adding fax header is set in [Header/Footer Position] of the Utility mode.

"Specifying the method of setting the transmission source/reception information (Header/Footer

Specifying the Fax Header Settings

Press [Fax/Scan] key to display the Fax/Scan screen.

Load the original.
– For details on loading originals, refer to "Loading the original" on page 2-6.

Touch [Communication Settings].

Touch [Fax Header Settings].

Specify whether to add the fax header.
– For European model, if [Header Position] of the Utility mode is set to [OFF] and [Yes] is selected in
the Fax Header Settings screen, the header information is added to the header.
