Attaching the total page count to a sent fax (Total # of Pages)
Using the original page count function enables you to attach with page numbering the total number of pages
recorded at the transmission source to the total page numbering when sending a fax using quick memory
transmission.

Following functions cannot be used simultaneously.
Memory transmission, Simplex/Duplex (Cover+2-Sided), Frame Erase, Book Copy, Scan Size, Mixed
Original, Polling TX, Polling RX, Bulletin Board and Timer TX, Preview

Detail
Page numbering recorded at the transmission source is printed in the form of "Page number/total
number of pages".
When the number of set pages and number of scanned pages is different, the number of set pages is
printed.
When using memory transmission, the operation is unnecessary since the number of total pages is
automatically attached.
To send a fax after specifying the number of pages

Press [Fax/Scan] key, and make the Fax/Scan screen display.

Load the original to be faxed.

Refer to "Loading the original" on page 2-6 for details on loading the original.

The number of original pages can be set up to 999 pages.

Touch [Communication Settings].

Touch [Communication Method Settings].

Touch [Quick Memory TX].

Touch [OK] and touch [Close] on the next screen.
Quick memory transmission is set, and the machine returns to the Fax/Scan screen.
