6.15 Sending a fax after cancelling Super G3 mode (V. 34 OFF)
V. 34 OFF
V. 34 is communication method used during Super G3 fax communication. When the recipient’s machine or
this machine is connected through a private switchboard, communication with Super G3 mode may not be
possible depending on the setup of the telephone line.
In such cases, fax can be sent after setting the Super G3 mode to Off by selecting [V. 34 OFF].
Automatically returns to V. 34 mode when the transmission ends.

Following functions cannot be used simultaneously.
Polling RX, Polling TX, Bulletin board registration, and Bulletin board Polling RX
Sending the fax after setting V. 34 OFF

Press [Fax/Scan] key to display the Fax/Scan screen.

Load the original.
– For details on loading originals, refer to "Loading the original" on page 2-6.

Touch [Communication Settings].

Touch [Line Settings].

Touch [V. 34 OFF].
– Touch [V. 34 OFF] once again to cancel the settings.
