NV9616
• System salvos.
• A menu to change Panel ID, adjust button illumination, and provide “read only” status for a
variety of other panel functions.
• The NV9609 supports multiple source breakaways. This lets you route multiple sources to the
same destination on different levels. Use
Level
or Level mode buttons to make use of this capa-
bility.
• Time out function – If an operator either initiates a break-away or is viewing the status of a par-
ticular level and they leave the panel in a state where it is displaying a level that is not the high-
est or first level, the panel reverts to the default state displaying the highest or top level; the next
take will be pre-set to be all levels.
NV9616
The NV9616 is an X-Y/multi-destination control panel featuring 16 LCD button modules:
This 2RU panel is organized as shown in the illustration above:
• LCD button units.
Each unit comprises a large LCD button and a small ‘Take’ button below the LCD button. The
LCD buttons each have 3 lines of text (up to 8 characters per line). In multi-destination mode,
the 3 lines of text display source, preset, and destination, respectively. A button can display
other messages in other contexts.
When defined, an LCD button represents:
• A destination (in multi-destination mode). The NV9616 provides support for up to 512
destinations on up to 32 pages. You can select a page with the (dedicated) scroll buttons.
• A salvo (in salvo mode). The NV9616 provides support for salvos on multiple pages of
salvo buttons. You can select a page with the (dedicated) scroll buttons.
In X-Y mode, the LCD buttons represent (1) the selected destination on the top left button, in
amber, and (2) up to 15 levels on the other buttons.
In menu mode, some of the LCD buttons execute menu functions.
The LCD buttons are also used — in a very specific way — during the definition of a “gang”
take.
