Updating Categories

Click anywhere in the row listing the category being updated. Using the ‘Shift’ or ‘CTRL’ key
on your keyboard’ you can select multiple categories. Each category opens in a separate tab.
Click a tab to bring the page forward.
The ‘Category Details’ page appears:

4 Click anywhere in the row listing the device being removed. Using the ‘Shift’ or ‘CTRL’ key
on your keyboard’ you can select multiple devices.
5 Click
Delete
, located at the bottom of the devices list. (You may need to scroll down to see the
button.) The device is removed from the list.
6 Click
Save
, located on the ‘Categories’ page.
Or
To revert to the previously saved configuration, click
Revert to Saved .
7 Click
X
on the window title tab to close the page.
How to Remove a Device Using the ‘Category Details’ Table
1 Launch NV9000-SE. (See Launching and Exiting the Application on page 12.)
2 From the Navigation area, select the ‘Views’ pane and then ‘Category Details’. The ‘Category
Details’ table appears, as shown in Figure 10-27.
All categories currently defined in the system are listed. To narrow the list, enter the first char-
acters of the category’s name in the ‘Category Filter’ field. The list is automatically reduced to
display only categories matching that character string.
