Adding an EC9700/EC9710 Panel
How to Add a EC9700/EC9710 Control Panel Using the ‘GUIs’ Table
Panels can be added to configuration files using the ‘GUIs’ table. However, no button configura-
tions can be selected. To define control panel configurations, see

1 Launch NV9000-SE. (See
Launching and Exiting the Application
2 From the Navigation area, select the ‘Views’ pane and then ‘GUIs’. The ‘GUIs’ table appears:

Add
. A blank row appears at the end of the list.
4 In the blank row, click on a column to activate the cell and enter information as follows:

Save
to save your changes.
Column
Description
ID
The identification number automatically assigned the control panel in the NV9000-
SE system.
Computer (or
Windows User)
Name
Enter the name of the computer on the network on which the control panel
application resides.
User Name
Enter the user’s name. User names are managed through the ‘User’ table. (See
Configuration
From the drop-down list, select a configuration file to associate with the control
panel. For more information on configuration files, see
Language
Currently, only English is supported.
Description
Enter an optional description of the control panel.
