How to Update a User Name
1 Launch NV9000-SE. (See
Launching and Exiting the Application
2 From the Navigation area, select the ‘Views’ pane and then ‘Users’. The ‘Users’ table appears,
as shown in Figure 19-3.
All users currently defined in the system are listed. To narrow the list, enter the first characters
of the user’s name in the ‘Name Filter’ field. The list is automatically reduced to display only
users matching that character string.

3 Locate the row listing the host being updated.
4 In the row, click in the ‘User Name’ column to activate it and enter a new user name. Do not use
any punctuation marks or symbols.
5 Click
Save

To revert to the previously saved configuration, click
Revert to Saved

X
on the window title tab to close the table.
Associating a User With a Panel
Associating a user with a control panel gives that user name the ability to manage access to the con-
trol panel, such as applying or removing locks and “protects”. User names are associated using the
