15. Salvos
A salvo is a series of commands strung together to create a predesignated action. When an operator
selects a button that activates a salvo, all commands within that salvo are executed. This is
extremely useful when a series of commands are frequently repeated.
System salvos exist globally, available to all control panel configurations. Local salvos belong only
to the control panel on which they are recorded.
Salvos are managed using the following interfaces:
• ‘Add Salvo’ wizard (accessed through the ‘Tasks’ pane)
—
A step-by-step guide to add a single
salvo. Opens the ‘Salvo Details’ page through which salvos are created. See
• ‘Salvos’ page (accessed through the ‘Configuration’ pane)
—
A list of existing salvos to which
a new salvo can be added. Opens the ‘Salvo Details’ page through which salvos are created and
salvo configurations updated. See
• Three salvo tables (accessed through the ‘Views’ pane):
• ‘Salvos’ table
—
A list of existing salvos, one per row. Using this table, salvo names,
description and file paths can be added or updated. However, the actions that compose the
salvo cannot be selected. Salvo actions are managed using the ‘Salvo Details’ page accessed
through the ‘Salvos’ page. The added salvo can have the file path of an existing salvo,
essentially acting as a “save as” function. See
Locating and Viewing Existing Salvos
• ‘Salvo List’ table
—
A list of existing salvos “lists”, one list per row, by name. A salvo list is
a folder containing one or more salvos. Using this table, salvo lists can be added, removed
or renamed. See
Creating and Deleting Salvo Lists
• ‘Salvo List Details’ table
—
A list of existing salvos, one per row, with associated salvo list
and ID. Using this table, existing salvos can be added to or removed from existing salvo
lists. See
