13. EC9700 and EC9710 Panels
Adding an EC9700/EC9710 Panel
The ‘Add SW Panel’ page appears:

3 Enter information in the fields provided. Entries must be entered in all active fields:

. The ‘SW Panel Details’ page appears, as shown in Figure 13-2.

. This adds the EC9700 control panel to the NV9000-SE system and clears all fields
so that another control panel can be added immediately. However, no button definitions are
added. To add details to the control panel, locate the control panel and perform steps 5 through
14 as described in this procedure. (See

to clear the fields without saving any information.
Field
Description
Type
From the drop-down list, select EC9700.
Computer (or Windows
User) Name where control
panel will be located
Enter the name of the computer or user name on a network where the
control panel will be installed.
User
From the drop-down list, select a user type. Only the user type ‘EnvyUser’
is supported at this time.
Configuration Options
Click the radio button matching the option you want. If no other control
panel configuration currently exists in the NV9000-SE system, all radio
buttons are deactivated except for ‘New’.
If copying a control panel configuration, enter a ‘New Name’ in the field
provided and select where ‘copied from’ from the drop-down list.
If copying an ‘Existing’ control panel configuration, select the
configuration from the drop-down list.
