Locating and Viewing Level Sets
Several columns display level set information. Each row represents a single virtual level and the
associated level set and physical levels.

Locating and Viewing Virtual Levels
Level sets are composed of virtual levels (
Physical Levels vs. Virtual Levels
on page 112). A list of
all virtual levels in the NV9000-SE system can be quickly and easily viewed using the ‘Virtual
Levels’ table accessed through the ‘Views’ pane.
How to Locate and View Virtual Levels Using the ‘Virtual Levels’ Table

2 From the Navigation area, select the ‘Views’ pane and then ‘Virtual Levels’. The ‘Virtual Lev-
els’ table appears, as shown in Figure 8-9.
Column
Description
Level Set
Lists the level set name.
Virtual Level
Lists the virtual level associated with the corresponding level set listed on that row.
One virtual level is listed per row.
Physical Level
Lists the physical level associated with the virtual level that is, in turn, associated
with the corresponding level set.
Index
The index number assigned to each virtual level in a level set. A single level set may
be composed of several virtual levels, each with its own index number. The index
number determines how the levels display on a control panel. The lowest level
(lowest index number) in the level set is considered the “primary” level and is shown
first or at the top. See

Free Source
Lists any free source associated with the virtual level in the level set. A free source is
a source, usually black and silence, that can be routed to a destination to free up that
destination.
