11. Control Panels
Panel Operation
Scroll
The Scroll button (default legend
Scroll
) is used for X-Y mode only, although it lights in MD mode
too. This button is used to activate the
Page Up
and
Page Down
buttons enabling the operator to
scroll through a list of devices that appears in the display area for a specific category. This function
is only enabled when a category button is pressed.
Source
The Source button is available in X-Y and MD mode. The button has a specific source device
assigned and the button legend reflects the name of the device. When pressed, the source and corre-
sponding levels display. What source is assigned to the button is determined when the control panel
is configured.
Source Mode
The Source Mode button (default legend
Src Mode
) is available in X-Y and MD mode. This button
is the first step in the source selection process. (The second step is to select a Category.) When
Src
Mode
is pressed, the control panel lights change to green and all buttons related to source device
selection light.
Source/Destination
The Source/Destination button (default legend
Source/Dest
) has either a single source or a single
destination assigned depending on the current control panel mode. In X-Y mode, the button is a
source; in MD mode, the button is a destination.
Source/Destination Mode
The Source/Destination mode button (default legend
Src/Dst Mode
) is used for X-Y mode only. The
button toggles between all buttons being in source mode or all buttons being in destination mode.
Source/Dest Toggle
The Source/Destination toggle button (default legend
Source/Dest Toggle
) toggles between source
mode or a destination mode depending on the current control panel mode. In X-Y mode, the button
toggles between two sources; in MD mode, the button toggles between two destinations.
Source Shift
Some panels allow the Source buttons to be configured with two sources. This button (default leg-

) allows one source to be accessed when the button is low tally and a second source to
be accessed when the button is high tally. If two sources are assigned to a
Source
button, you must
include a
Src Shift
button on the control panel so that the operator can access both sources.
Source Master
The Source Master button (default legend

) is available in X-Y mode only. The
Src Mstr
