Deleting a Name Set
Deleting a Name Set
A name set can be deleted at any time using the ‘Name Sets’ window accessed through the ‘System
Management’ pane. Be careful when deleting a name set. If the names in the name set are currently
displaying on control panels, removing the name set will remove those names from displaying on
the control panel. Instead, default system names display.
How to Delete a Name Set
1 Launch NV9000-SE. (See

2 From the Navigation area, select the ‘System Management’ pane.
3 Right-click on the system controller you are currently working with and from the pop-up menu
select ‘Edit Name Sets’. The ‘Name Sets’ window appears, as shown in Figure 17-4. All name
sets currently defined in the system are listed.
4 Click on the name set column listing the name set you want to remove and click
Delete Name
Set
.
5 On the confirmation dialog box that displays, click
OK
. The column displaying the name set is
removed and the names in the name set removed from the system.

Click
Cancel
to close the dialog box without removing the name set
6 Click
X
on the window title tab to close the window.
