NV9609

The ‘NV9609’ page determines how the NV9609 control panel functions and displays. For a full
description of the control panel and functions, see

NV9609

on page 531.

The ‘NV9609’ page is divided into sections:

• Button Layout

A graphic representation of the buttons on the control panel. Click on a button

to assign a function to it. Certain buttons have preassigned functions and cannot be changed.

• Button Definitions

Assigns a function to the currently selected button in the ‘Button Layout’

field. The options available as definitions change depending on the options selected in the
‘Panel Options’ section.

• Outputs

The general-purpose I/O (GPIO) output connections at the rear of the control panel.

• Inputs

The general-purpose I/O (GPIO) input connections at the rear of the control panel.

• Panel Options

Specifies control panel behavior, such as the default mode.

The control panel options, button layout and button definitions are configured using the ‘NV9609’
page. When saved, the configurations are communicated to the physical control panel and appear to
the operator using the control panel.

Tip

Operators using the control panel may define a local salvo by placing the
control panel in “record” mode (using the menu), performing a sequence of
operations, and saving the salvo by giving it a name. The operator must
also add the new salvo to the salvo list so that it can be selected when the
operator places the control panel in salvo mode.
