How to View a Bound Signal Type and the Virtual Level
1 Launch NV9000-SE. (See

2 From the Navigation area, select the ‘Views’ pane and then ‘Signal Types’. The ‘Signal Types’
table appears, as shown in Figure 8-35.
To narrow the list of virtual levels that display, enter the first characters of a virtual level in the
‘Virtual Level Filter’ field. The list is automatically reduced to display only virtual levels
matching that character string.
Or
Enter the first characters of a signal type in the ‘Signal Type Filer’ field. The list is automati-
cally reduced to display only signal types matching that character string.

umn. One virtual level may be bound to several signal types.

Updating Signal Types and Signal Binding
Signal type and signal binding information can be updated at any time. It is recommended that sig-
nal information be updated off-line. Once changes are saved, there is no “undo” function; the con-
figuration is permanently altered. To implement configuration changes, the configuration must be
