Updating External Interface Information
3 Click anywhere in the row listing the external interface being updated and click
Edit Selected
External Interfaces
. The ‘External Interface Details’ page appears, as shown in Figure 14-13.

4 Update the ‘Params’ with new parameter information in the field provided. Parameters enable
special features that the external application supports. For more information, contact Miranda
technical support.
5 Click
Save

To revert to previously the saved configuration, click
Revert to Saved
.

on the window title tab to close the page.
Updating External Interface Connection Information
Depending on the protocol (type) of external interface, the connection is either Ethernet or serial.
Ethernet and serial connection information can be updated at any time using the ‘External Inter-
faces’ page accessed through the ‘Configuration’ pane. If updating an IP address, be sure the
address is unique and valid for your facility’s network.
How to Update External Interface Connection Information
1 Launch NV9000-SE. (See

2 From the Navigation area, select the ‘Configuration’ pane and then ‘External Interfaces’. The
‘External Interfaces’ page displays, as shown in Figure 14-14.
To narrow the list, enter the first characters of the application’s name in the ‘Name Filter’ field.
And/Or
Enter the first characters of the type of application in the ‘Type Filter’ field.
