NV9609
The NV9609 is an X-Y control panel that has four 8-character displays:

The panel is organized into two array: 12 buttons to the left of the central display area and 16 to the
right. None of the buttons have fixed assignments, but are generally divided into the following
functions:
• Category and numeric buttons

10 buttons from 0 to 9 which are also category buttons.
• ‘Level’ buttons enable breakaway switching.
• ‘Next’ and ‘Prev’ that enable operators to scroll through the available levels on the selected
destination so that single level breakaway switches may be done.
Mode of Operation
The panel operates in X-Y Mode only (single source/single destination). Choose a destination,
choose a source and press Take to complete a desired route. The panel can be configured to display
up to eight levels of status.
From the user’s standpoint, the panel has four operational modes:
• Source mode, in which sources are chosen for selected routes.
• Destination mode, in which destinations are chosen for selected routes.
• Level Mode, in which a breakaway level can be selected or sources on specific levels deter-
mined.
• Salvo mode, in which “system” salvos are run.
• Menu mode, in which the user can set the panel ID, button illumination, and review various
parameters.
Configurable Functions
