Configurable Functions
Depending upon the selected mode, the NV9607 can be configured to perform the following func-
tions:
•
Previous Source
and
Free Source
.
•
Lock/Release
and
Protect/Release
for destinations.
• Single button to return to a pre-defined default state.
• Multiple source breakaways.
• Breakaways in all operation modes.
• Hold breakaway levels or multiple destinations.
• System salvos.
• A menu to change Panel ID and display and button illumination.
• In a multiple panel configuration, a
Force Release
of a locked or protected device can be config-
ured for each NV9607. However, note that
Release
and
Force Release
are mutually exclusive on
the same Control Panel.
The NV9607 panel uses buttons having both green, red and amber LEDs. Each button has tri-color
capability, and each provides three levels of tally: off, dim, and bright. (You can adjust the levels of
dim and bright.)
Panel Limitations
There are three functions the NV9607 does not perform:
• Tielines. Tie line usage is not indicated on the NV9607 panel.
• Local Salvos. The NV9607 control panel only supports the ability to run system salvos. “Local”
salvos are not supported, and the user cannot create them.
