Adding a Control Panel
NV9607
The ‘NV9607’ page determines how the NV9607 control panel functions and displays. For a full
description of the control panel and functions, see
The ‘NV9607’ page is divided into sections:
• Button Layout
—
A graphic representation of the control panel buttons; up to 116 configurable
buttons.
• Button Definitions
—
Assigns a function to the currently selected button in the ‘Button Layout’
field. The options available as definitions change depending on the options selected in the
‘Panel Options’ section.
• Outputs
—
The general-purpose I/O (GPIO) output connections at the rear of the control panel.
• Inputs
—
The general-purpose I/O (GPIO) input connections at the rear of the control panel.
• Panel Options
—
Specifies control panel behavior, such as default mode.
• VFD Display Options
—
A Vacuum Fluorescent Display (VFD) area that can be configured to
display with 4 or 8 lines of text. Once configured, the area displays level status information dur-
ing normal operation. The operator can also configure the area to display specific levels on a
line-by-line basis.
The control panel options, button layout and button definitions are configured using the ‘NV9607’
page. When saved, the configurations are communicated to the physical control panel and appear to
the operator using the control panel.
