STOCKSET command parameters

The following table summarizes the STOCKSET command
parameters.

STOCKSET ASSIGN

Associates stocks with an identified stock reference or with other
stocks to create a stock set that will be used together in an
application.

Can have one of the following formats:

stockname

(’stockname’, stockreference)

(‘stockname’, stockreference
[, stockreference [,...]])

Stockname is the specific name of a stock. It is
enclosed in single quotes.

Stockreference is an alternate term for referencing
the named stock. It is common to assign the
stockreference according to its function in the job or
some other characteristic.

A stockreference may be assigned to only one
stockname.
