In the

box, type the text string you want to use for a password, then in the

box, re-type the text string.
The text string can be any length and can use any keyboard character.

To activate the settings and close the
Modify RIP Configuration

You can configure several system-wide bridging and Spanning-Tree Protocol (STP)
parameters. Each parameter comes preconfigured with a default value, however you can modify
each setting.
You modify system bridging and STP parameters from the
System Bridging Configuration
window. To one of the following to open the
System Bridging Configuration
