the desired height and a near-zero width and then tap this button.

Predefined Vertical Scan Frame: Generates a vertical scan frame with horizontal limits that fall within the video

image and vertical limits that extend to the vertical turning limits of the total station.

Note: Once a scan frame is defined, it can be resized by dragging the edges or corners.

Predefined Horizontal Scan Frame: Generates a horizontal scan frame with vertical limits that fall within the

video image and with horizontal limits that wrap nearly 360° around the total station.

Undo: Undo the last change(s) made to the current scan frame with each tap.

Zoom In: Digitally zoom in the image with each tap between four levels from 1x to 4x.

Zoom Out: Zoom out with each tap from 4x back to 1x.

Define Scan Frame /

Aim Instrument: Toggles between two modes. When in Aim Instrument mode,

tapping anywhere within the video image will turn the total station to that location. When in Define Scan Frame mode,
you can create a scan frame by tapping on the screen.

Brightness/Contrast: Opens a dialog box where the brightness, contrast and white balance can be adjusted.

Take Photo: Takes a digital photo and stores the photo to a file. (See

Video Settings

for details on configuring

the settings for this feature.)

[Scan]: Opens the second Video Scan screen and start the scanning process. Colored blocks will appear on the screen
for each new point the total station records. The color will vary depending on the distances measured and the
reflectivity.

Pause: Will pause the scanning process. Tapping it again will continue scanning where it left off.

Stop: Cancels the scanning process and prompts you if you want to save the partially scanned data or delete it.

The Video Scan Settings screen is used to configure how many points to shoot within the scan frame of the video scan.
You have a choice to define the number of points by distance from point to point, angle from point to point, total
number of points, or the time required to shoot all points.

By Distance Intervals

HD/VD: Specifies the dimensions of each cell where a measurement will be taken within the scan frame of the video
scan.
