Using the IO Drivers
The following sections describe and illustrate the use of each IO
Driver.
Processor_2010
The Processor_2010 driver supports the digital I/O on board the
PPC-2010 Processor module.
To associate a variable with a digital I/O point:
1.
Open the
Add Program/Resource Variable
dialog box.
2.
Enter a unique variable
Name
.
3.
Select
BOOL
from the Type list.
4.
Select
Input
or
Output
by clicking the corresponding check
box.
5.
Select
Processor_2010
from the IO Driver list.
6.
Enter the
IO Physical Address
. The address is:
0.0.ZZ is the module I/O number (1-48)
7.
Click
[OK]
.
To associate a variable with the pulse input:
1.
Open the
Add Program/Resource Variable
dialog box.
2.
Enter a unique variable
Name
.
3.
Select
INT
from the
Type
list.
4.
Select
Input
by clicking the check box.
5.
Select
Processor_2010
from the
IO Driver
list.
6.
Select
WORD
from the
IO Size
list.
7.
Enter the
IO Physical Address
. The address is:
0.Y.1 Y is the type of I/O (1 = Count, 2 = Frequency)
8.
Click
[OK]
