Troubleshooting
Cannot connect the scanner and a computer via a
USB cable.
Is the USB cable connected properly?
No
Connect the USB cable properly.
Yes
Did you select [Automatic] for the USB setting for the
scanner?
Yes
If you select [Automatic] for the USB setting for the scanner, the connection
between the scanner and a computer may not be able to be established.
Change the setting for [26:USB] to [2:USB 2.0] in the [Settings Menu] screen on
the operator panel.
No
If the problem persists, check the items in "7.4 Before You Contact the Scanner
Service Provider" (page 156) first, then contact the distributor/dealer where you
purchased this product.
