Appendix K: ReTURNING THe UNIT FOR RePAIR

In the event that the SCADA 3000 does not function properly, we suggest that you do the

following:

1) Record your observations regarding the SCADA 3000 malfunction.
2) Call the Technical Service Department at (610)558-2700 prior to sending the

unit to Phonetics for repair.

If the unit must be sent to Phonetics for Servicing, please do the following:

1) Turn the power switch Off, disconnect all wiring and unplug the unit.
2) Carefully pack the unit to avoid damage in transit. Use the original container (if

available) or a sturdy shipping box.

3) You must include the following information to avoid shipping delays:

a) Your name, address and telephone number.

b) A note explaining the problem.

4) Ship your package to the address below:

5) Ship prepaid and insured via UPS or US Mail to ensure a traceable shipment

with recourse for damage or replacement.

customers should contact the factory at (610) 558-2700 for information on sending your unit to

an authorized Canadian repair facility. Be sure to record your observations regarding the unit’s

malfunction and follow the procedures outlined above.
