Appendix G: SOFTWARe INTeRNeT UPGRADe
The Internet Upgrade program allows you to retrieve SCADA 3000 Software and Flash
Firmware updates via the internet. The program will check to see what software versions you
have and then check our website and list the files that need to be updated. Follow the instruc-
tions below to configure the program and update your files.
Note: You must have internet access to use this program. You should connect to
the internet before running the upgrade.
STARTING THe PROGRAm
Click on the Internet Upgrade program icon from the desktop (or select it from the Windows
Start menu).
The program will display all pertinent SCADA files as shown below:

With the default settings in place you may verify, retrieve and install the software upgrade as
follows. If you wish to change the default settings, select Options from the File pulldown menu.
Verify
Click this button to have the Upgrader program log in to the Sensaphone server and compare
the software version at Sensaphone with the software version on your computer. The Status
list will be updated to reflect whether your files are up to date, or if a newer version is available.
If a newer version is available and you would like to upgrade now, click the Retrieve button.
Retrieve
Click this button to download the newest software versions from the Sensaphone server. They
will be saved to a folder on your computer called NewVer.
Install
Click this button to install the files in the new version directory.
