ip vrrp
User level: privileged, supervisor.
Use the ip vrrp command to create a virtual router on the interface.
Use the no ip vrrp command to delete a virtual router.
The syntax for this command is:
[no] ip vrrp
Example:
ip vrrp address
User level: privileged, supervisor.
Use the ip vrrp address command to assign an IP address to the virtual
router.
Use the no ip vrrp address command to remove an IP address from a virtual
router.
The syntax for this command is:
[no] ip vrrp address
Example:
To assign address 10.0.1.2 to virtual router 1:
vr-id Virtual Router ID (1-255)
Router-N(configure-if:marketing) # ip vrrp 1
Done!
vr-id Virtual Router ID (1-255)
ip-address The IP address to be assigned to the virtual router.
Router-N(configure-if:marketing) # ip vrrp 1 address
10.0.1.2
Done!
