6.6.5 Patrol (Tour and Pattern)
In the Main menu press the PATROL key to enter the menu for carrying out the movement controls.
START TOUR/PATTERN
To start the corresponding type of PATROL.
The reader should refer to specific the dome handbook.
WARNING
The only way to stop a movement in progress is to operate the joystick (Pan or Tilt movements).
6.6.6 Preset , Scan and Home
WARNING!
The term ‘Scan’ as used in the dome handbook does not correspond with the commonly used
meaning of the term as used in this handbook; for practical purposes the functions have the
'standard' meaning and not the one used by the dome handbook.
• ‘Preset’ means storage of the current position
• ‘Scan’ means movement of the pan & tilt to a previously stored position; in the dome
handbook this function is called 'Preset'.
The PRESET, SCAN and HOME functions are described in sections (§ 4.4.1.1 - PRESET, page 46 and §
4.4.2 - SCAN MENU, page 48).
Refer to § 9.2.1 – Dome, page 165 to check the specific limits of the dome.
• If you operate the joystick after selecting a SCAN position, the dome will carry out the
movement in progress until it reaches the loaded Preset position.
• The HOME function starts the function specified in the dome OSM.
