6.14.4 Patrol (Tour and Pattern)
In the Main menu press the PATROL key to enter the menu for carrying out the movement controls.
TART TOUR / PATTERN
To start the related “TOUR/PATTERN” function.
The only way to stop a movement in progress is to operate the joystick (Pan or Tilt movements).
6.14.5 Preset, Scan and Home
WARNING!
The 'Scan' instructions given in the dome handbook do not correspond to the generally accepted
usage in this manual: for practical purposes the functions take on the 'standard' meaning and not
those suggested by the dome handbook:
 ‘Preset’ means to store the current position
 ‘Scan’ means the pan & tilt movement towards a previously stored position; in the dome
handbook this function is called 'Preset'
The PRESET, SCAN and HOME functions are described in sections (§ 4.4.1.1 - PRESET, page 46 and §
4.4.2 - SCAN MENU, page 48).
Refer to § 9.2.1 – Dome, page 165 to check the specific limits of the dome.
• When you operate the joystick after selecting a SCAN position, the dome will carry out the
movement in progress until it reaches the Preset position that has been loaded.
• The HOME function activates the function specified in the dome OSM.
