DVR/MUX Setup
In addition to configuration using the keys on their front panel, some DVR/MUX's can also be configured
from the keyboard.
The table shows whether the protocols allow Setup from the keyboard or not.
See the handbook for the video unit you are using.

Configuring the DVR/MUX from the keyboard requires the “Setup Mtx/DVR/MUX” function to be
enabled (see § 4.2.4.5 - Functions, page 35).

Operational tests for direct/indirect connection
This is used to test whether the connection with the video device has been made correctly.
Direct connection

Select DVR/MUX 1 and switch the various cameras.
In the presence of more than one DVR/MUX select the number corresponding to
the unit address (1..100) and switch the various cameras.
Indirect connection
In the Main menu display the DVR/MUX control keys and switch the various
cameras.
In the presence of more than one DVR/MUX select the number corresponding to
the unit address (1..100) and switch the various cameras.
(1) Switching times in the ENEO DVR/MUX are slowed down by the type of protocol installed by the
manufacturer.

VIDEOTEC MUX
Direct connection
Addressable MUX: Select the MUX with an address between 1 and 64 and switch
the various cameras.
Non-addressable MUX: Select MUX 1 and switch the various cameras. Selecting
a MUX with an address between 2 and 100 will have no effect.
Indirect connection
Addressable MUX: In the Main menu display the MUX control keys; select the
number corresponding to the unit address (1..64) and switch the various cameras.
Non-addressable MUX: In the Main menu display the MUX 1 control keys and
switch the various cameras.
