4.6 GRAPHICS Environment Area
The GRAPHICS environment consists of a series of pages inside which it is possible to insert a number of
keys.
The user is free to choose the appearance (e.g. the graphics, ideograms, trademarks, etc.), the key functions
and the position in the page.
These advantages mean it is possible to create a customised environment within the keyboard, making it
possible to allow for particular situations occurring during use, to simplify use or limit use to specific
activities.
It is possible to manage up to 30 graphics pages with 40 keys each.
The graphics of these 30 pages are represented by 320x240 pixel format images.
The keys can perform one or more of the most frequently used functions including jumping pages and exiting
the graphics environment.
This environment is programmed using the Personal Computer and the reader should refer to § 7.4.3 -
Keyboard Maps, page 148 for the details.
The GRAPHICS environment can be entered using the two keys described at the side of the illustration.
The “line busy” indicators are also activated in the GRAPHICS environment; make sure they do not interfere
with the correct display of the graphics keys (see § 3.1.1 - Line busy indicators, page 13).
