Whenever the TYPE and PROTOCOL parameters are modified, the subsequent parameters are
forced to their default values (including any TELEMETRY parameters that are incompatible with
the new settings).
4.2.3.1.2
Keyboard Add.
This parameter is used to set the address used to recognise the keyboard within the system.
The default keyboard address is No. 1.
See the specific sections of the manual for the correct settings of these parameters (see § 5 - VIDEO
MANAGEMENT, page 51).
Using the same address for more than one device connected to the system will cause faulty
operation of the controls that are sent/received by the video matrix.
4.2.3.1.3
Ext DVR/MUX
This parameter is used to select a type of DVR or multiplexer to be connected to the matrix in cascade. It is
only possible to do this when the item “Type” is associated with a matrix and the item “Protocol” has been set
to “MACRO” or “MACRO NO P.”.
WARNING: this type of connection only works if the matrix is able to manage the communication
protocols used by the DVR's/multiplexers that are connected to it. See the matrix handbook.
