7.4.1 Keyboard Setup
This programme is used to simplify configuration of all keyboard parameters.
When the programme is started the following graphics window will appear; the window has three areas: Main
menu, toolbar and five index cards.

WARNING
To start a new project, first open a new one by clicking on the icon.
7.4.1.1 Main menu
This consists of the following fields:
File
New creates a new setup file
Open loads a previously saved setup file
Save saves the current setup file
Save as saves the current setup file with another name
Receive from
keyboard downloads the configuration present in the keyboard via the serial port
Send to keyboard sends the configuration file to the keyboard via the serial port
COM Port
used to select the serial port to be used for transferring the file
Language used to choose the language used by the programme
Exit closes the programme without saving the currently open file
Info supplies information about the programme version
7.4.1.2 Toolbar
This consists of eight graphics keys. Each key is associated with a brief heading that describes the menu
function corresponding to the key.
Only the “Print” and “Print preview” keys are not associated with menu functions and given their obvious
meaning, they are not described by a heading.
7.4.1.3 Index cards
Each of the five cards gives access to a specific group of parameters or functions that are described in the
following pages.
