7.3.2 Installation procedure
Take the configuration CD supplied with the keyboard and insert it in the CD-reader then start the
SETUP.EXE programme.The following window will be displayed:
Follow the instructions to install the three
programmes - Keyboard Setup, Keyboard Language
and Keyboard Maps.
7.4 Programme guide
Please remember that this is just a description of the software; if you have any doubts about operating the
actual keyboard, consult the related sections in this handbook.
WARNING
Whenever you want to send/receive data to/from the keyboard, you must proceed as follows:
• switch off the keyboard and disconnect all the RS485 communication lines (Video, Telemetry A
and B);
• toggle DIP switch No. 1 to ON (see § 2.5 - DIP switch, page 11) otherwise the programme will
be terminated without saving the project;
• connect the keyboard to the PC using the serial cable supplied for this purpose;
• switch on the keyboard and carry out the download/upload;
• on completing the download/upload return DIP switch No. 1 to OFF.
We always advise saving the project before sending it to the keyboard .
