File Statistics area fields:
• File size trend graph—Shows changes of the file size over the last 1 hour in a line chart. Place the
cursor over a spot in the curve to view the size of the file at the specific time point. To change the
report period, click the Last 1 Hour icon
on the upper right of the graph, and then select an icon
from the list. Available options include Last 6 Hours , Today , Yesterday , This Week , This
Month , and This Year .
• Attribute/Value—Monitor index name and data.

File Size—Size of the file in the last polling period.
{
Last Modified—Time when the file was last modified in the last polling period.
{
Set Threshold—Click the Set Threshold icon to set the file size alarm thresholds. The
specified alarm thresholds appear on the file size trend graph as dotted lines. The file size value
is highlighted in orange when it reaches the level-1 threshold, and is highlighted in red when it
reaches the level-2 threshold. Use either the global thresholds or custom thresholds. For
information about setting the thresholds, see " 6 Configuration management ."

History Record—Click the History Record icon to view history graph of the file size change
trend. Point to a spot on the curve to view the file size at the specific time point. Authorized users
can view directory size statistics over the last 1 hour, last 6 hours, today, yesterday, this week,
this month, and this year by clicking the corresponding icons on the upper right of the graph.
Directory
APM can monitor the size of individual directories on Windows, UNIX, and Linux operating systems. This
section describes how to add and modify a directory monitor, and helps you view the monitor report.
Adding a directory monitor
APM monitors directories through WMI or CLI. When you add application monitors for directories,
follow these guidelines:
• Add the host where the directory to be monitored resides to the IMC platform so APM can obtain
and display network connections of the host and the access device in the application topology. For
more information about adding hosts to the IMC platform, see H3C IMC Base Platform
Administrator Guide.
• To monitor a directory on a Windows host, first configure and enable WMI for the Windows
operating system (see the Microsoft Windows operating system online help), and provide the
username and password of the user who has the Windows administrator's privileges.
