Network requirements

As shown in

Figure 204

, a RADIUS server running on IMC uses UDP ports 1812 and 1813 to provide

authentication and accounting services respectively.
Configure the AP to use the RADIUS server for Telnet user authentication and accounting (recording the
online duration of the Telnet user), and to remove the domain name from a username before sending the

username to the server.
On the RADIUS server, configure a Telnet user account with the username hello@bbb and the password

abc, and set the EXEC privilege level to 3 for the user.
Set the shared keys for packet exchange between the AP and the RADIUS server to expert.

NOTE:

This example assumes that the server runs IMC PLAT 3.20-R2606 and IMC UAM 3.60-E6206.

Add the AP to IMC as an access device:

a.

Log to IMC and click the Service tab.

b.

Select Access Service > Access Device from the navigation tree.

c.

Click Add to enter the access device configuration page, as shown in

Figure 205

.

d.

Set the shared key for authentication and accounting to expert.

e.

Set the ports for authentication and accounting to 1812 and 1813 respectively.

f.

Select the service type Device Management Service.

g.

Select the access device type H3C.
